The Blue
Collar Blues Band
at
Lou's Pier 47, San Francisco, California

WOW!

What a
night!
The Blue Collar Blues Band was
HOT HOT HOT!

Steve
Gornall ripped it up on guitar, Don Bassey and Paul Revelli "drove"
the sound, and Mike Emerson boogied 'em blind on keys.
The SonomaTunes.com
Road Trip Gang
was there. Steve's wife, Eve, and her friend Sue were there. Other
friends of the band were there. Total strangers were there. All of
them had a good time and all of them enjoyed the blues, blue collar style.
There
was even a party of about 15-20 guys from Holland seated downstairs at Lou's
curbside tables who were listening to the sounds of the band coming through the
open windows above. They got their initiation to Blue Collar Blues,
American style.
Their
debut event at one of the "Best Blues Clubs in San Francisco" was
memorable and will surely result in more gigs to come. Thanks, folks, for
coming out and supporting the band and for being so energetic and alive.

Be at
Lou's Pier 47 again on Wednesday, May 16, 2001, for another
Blue Collar
Blues Experience.

(The Press Release):
On el firsto de Mayo, (read: May 1, 2001) the
Blue Collar Blues Band will be performing their debut gig at that
world famous venue upstairs known as Lou's.
Remember the lineup at the CD Release Party at the Tradewinds
in Cotati on February 3, 2001?

Steve Gornall
was "Great on Guitar"

Don Bassey was "Bad on Bass"

Paul Revelli was "Dynamic on Drums"

Mike Emerson was "Killer on Keyboards"
The same four musicians will be on hand at Lou's on May 1st.

It's a
Tuesday, which we all know is a "School Night," but the word is that
the SonomaTunes.com Road
Trip Gang will be there. Those folks only go on Road Trips to HOT
Gigs. That should tell ya everything you need to know.
